Flawless Finish: 2-Step Paint Correction & Full Gtechniq Ceramic Coating Treatment There’s nothing quite like bringing a vehicle’s finish back to life and locking in that deep gloss with high-performance protection. Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a beautiful convertible that underwent a complete transformation—from multi-stage correction to full-spectrum ceramic protection using Gtechniq’s industry-leading products. Step 1: Restoring Perfection with a 2-Step Paint Correction We began the process with a thorough wash and decontamination to strip away any surface grime, bonded contaminants, and previous waxes or sealants. With a clean slate, we dove into a 2-step paint correction . First Stage (Cutting): Using a medium-cut compound and polishing pad, we tackled moderate swirls, oxidation, and light scratches that were dulling the finish. Second Stage (Polishing): A fine polish and soft finishing pad refined the surface to a mirror-like gloss, enhancing the depth and clarity of the paint. The result? A flawless, swirl-free surface ready for long-term ceramic protection. Step 2: Layered Ceramic Protection with Gtechniq With the paint fully corrected, we moved on to applying Gtechniq’s flagship ceramic coatings to seal in the perfection. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra: This professional-grade ceramic coating provides unmatched durability, chemical resistance, and gloss. It bonds permanently with the clear coat to create a rock-hard barrier that resists swirl marks and environmental contaminants. Gtechniq EXOv5: We topped the Serum Ultra with EXOv5 to add an extra layer of hydrophobic performance and slickness. Convertible Top Treated with Gtechniq Smart Fabric Convertible tops are often overlooked, but they require protection too—especially against UV, water, and stains. We applied Gtechniq Smart Fabric to the fabric top to create a breathable, invisible barrier that repels water, dirt, and spills while allowing the material to breathe naturally. Interior Detailing & Coating The interior wasn’t left out. After a full deep clean of all surfaces, we protected every material with specialized Gtechniq products: Smart Fabric (interior): Applied to the carpet and cloth sections to guard against spills and stains without affecting texture or breathability. Leather Guard: Used on all leather surfaces to prevent dye transfer, UV damage, and general wear while maintaining a supple, natural feel.
