Flawless Finish: 2-Step Paint Correction & Full Gtechniq Ceramic Coating Treatment
There’s nothing quite like bringing a vehicle’s finish back to life and locking in that deep gloss with high-performance protection. Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a beautiful convertible that underwent a complete transformation—from multi-stage correction to full-spectrum ceramic protection using Gtechniq’s industry-leading products.
Step 1: Restoring Perfection with a 2-Step Paint Correction
We began the process with a thorough wash and decontamination to strip away any surface grime, bonded contaminants, and previous waxes or sealants. With a clean slate, we dove into a 2-step paint correction.
- First Stage (Cutting): Using a medium-cut compound and polishing pad, we tackled moderate swirls, oxidation, and light scratches that were dulling the finish.
- Second Stage (Polishing): A fine polish and soft finishing pad refined the surface to a mirror-like gloss, enhancing the depth and clarity of the paint.
The result? A flawless, swirl-free surface ready for long-term ceramic protection.
Step 2: Layered Ceramic Protection with Gtechniq
